Rare Crystals - What are they and why are they so special?

Some crystals stand out from others for the simple reason of being harder to find. Others might be a unique combination that is rarely found, while others may a pristine formation of a well-known crystal. These raw crystals fetch high prices, and their energy is extremely sought after due to its scarcity. For example, Jadeite is a lush green crystal that has a place in Mayan, Maori, and Chinese cultures. It is not to be confused with the normal jade stone or nephrite jade, this crystal can be had for prices sometimes higher even than diamonds. It inspires luck and radical positivity, adding it to your collection is a great way of ensuring good things keep happening in your life. Black Opal is an example of a wonderful crystal that is unique to one remote geographical location. It is only found in the New South Wales area of Lighting Ridge in Australia. It is similar to Opal but has a distinct black tone to it as well as a multicolor interior. It helps with energies that make you feel ...

What are raw crystals, geodes, and more?

Crystals are created from a natural event in the Earth, they come in many forms these days, but perhaps their most sacred version is raw crystals. That is crystals that exist without any kind of influence in their form by hand or technology at all, they exist as they were formed by the Earth. This includes pieces like geodes, clusters, raw points and more. These organically formed beauties give it a special place in crystal fans' hearts, their energies considered to be the purest when compared to other polished and adjusted crystal forms. They come in misshapen and odd forms, but this only adds to their appeal in my opinion. Another type of raw crystals are geodes, one of my faves. These are pieces of rock that have a cavity on one side lined with quartz and agate crystals. They are a kind of like an oyster, with rock being the shell and crystals the pearl. They make attractive and powerful items for anyone looking for a wonderful crystal source of energy in their home. They are a...

Grape Agate - Get to know this botryoidal purple chalcedony!

Grape Agate may look good enough to eat but trust us when we say it's a regular crystal and not a fruity snack! The behavior of the lava surrounding regular crystals can cause some of them to behave irregularly causing this grape-like formation. This fun crystal mainly occurs in Indonesia but has also been found in Utah. This makes the crystal pretty rare considering the area it occurs in Indonesia, Mamuju, is quite small making the amount itself also quite small. Scientifically, Grape Agate is not actually an Agate but a botryoidal purple chalcedony (member of the quartz family) but let's be honest, that is quite a mouthful so we will stick to Grape Agate! It is no coincidence that this crystal is named Grape Agate . It really does look like tiny bunches of grapes in a cute purple color, although sometimes you will see a variety of other colors like green and blue. Grape Agate has a naturally warm energy that is excellent for meditation and calm. Think of Grape Agate as a comf...
